All our manifolds are checked before machining is done to check for broken threads and distortion and over-size holes, any that don’t meet the grade are scrapped off.
We machine our manifolds in-house on a purpose-built jig to ensure no movement occurs during the machining process.
The EGR and turbo mounting faces are also cleaned up.
EGR M6 tapped holes are cleaned out.
A final quality check is performed and a coat of VHT silver is applied to prevent machined surfaces from corroding.
For the HD kit, the studs are longer and feature expansion spacers to allow better heat dispersion for higher-tuned motors.
PLEASE NOTE: Each manifold carries a surcharge of £60+VAT which will be refunded after inspection on successful return of a standard, undamaged unit in useable condition to us. If you are unsure if your manifold will qualify for this, please contact us.
